Saleen Alley Newsletter (2006-08)

Task was to revamp the aging periodical ‘Saleen Alley’ for the Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club. This project was handed-down after the successful website relaunch of 2006.

Challenges: How does InDesign function?
Solution: Purchase a used, two release old, InDesign text and read, read, read; while collecting a series of samples to try and duplicate layout arrangements.
Start: Volume 9, Issue 1
End: Volume 11, Issue 2
Quantity: Thousands.

Software Used: Adobe InDesign & Photoshop

– Various editions included with Corporate Sales Materials to 150-200 Ford Dealers stocking Saleen Vehicles.
– Complementary issues available to shoppers at The Saleen Store, Irvine Spectrum Center.
– Closest competing grassroots publication debuts new format in response.

Task was to revamp the aging website for the Saleen Owners and Enthusiasts Club, then housed at saleenclub.net. Idea was to build a new website, new forum and to create a digital archive for vehicle documentation. All features would be located at the original URL soec.org for the 15th Anniversary.
