I do not believe myself to be an Artist. My philosophy to life is based in logic and I lack the ability to draw. By discovering graphic design in high school, and later digital publishing while in college, these events allowed me to disguise my deficiency while accomplishing a creative need. Aspects that fed my desire to pursue a degree in Communication while apathetically studying Information Science.
Photography is my crayon. I consider this medium to be the closest representation to art that I practice. Searching, thinking… Waiting, thinking… Developing, thinking… Printing, thinking… Tweaking, thinking… Rinse and repeat. These exploratory moments are adventures in solace. My foundation towards creative expression. Though, I am not a Photographer.
My work comes from the perspective of a Communication Specialist. A desire to relay human nature or to simply depict (or distract me from) my countless daily quandaries. Past, present and future.
